The international cuisine comes from the Chelsea, and the evening’s colorful program includes performances by Craven Community College’s Encore! as well as chanteuses Daynette Orr and Jamie Turner. Each year's program finds its theme in an unusual occurrence. According to the Council's Executive Director Carol Tokarski, "Passport to Art was inspired by the appearance at the Craven Arts Council & Gallery of a portrait of no known origin.” To see the painting that inspired the worldwide hunt by Detective Oiseau, click here.

As exciting as the evening will be, the real focus is on the wonderful art that has been donated for this year's auction by more than 50 talented artists. Amazing oils, acrylics, watercolor, pottery, bronzes, and jewelry – as well as silent and live auction packages - are ready for the bidding. Craven Arts Council & Gallery is grateful to this year's sponsors—Coastal Carolina Health Care, East Carolina Bank, Eastern Carolina Internal Medicine, P.A., Jenkins Gas, and The Sun Journal.
